Wake & Bake French Toast

Ingredients

For Decarboxylation:
  • 5-10 grams of THCa flower
  • Parchment paper
Base Ingredients:
  • 6 thick slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 gram decarbed THCa flower
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter for cooking
  • Maple syrup for serving
Optional Boosters:
  • Powdered sugar
  • Fresh berries
  • Sliced bananas
  • Apple slices and cinnamon

 

Directions

Step 1: Decarboxylation
  1. Preheat oven to 245°F
  2. Grind THCa flower coarsely
  3. Spread evenly on parchment-lined baking sheet
  4. Bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes
  5. Let cool completely
Step 2: Make your French Toast
  1. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a shallow bowl
  2. Add finely ground decarbed THCa flower and whisk thoroughly
  3. Dip each bread slice in mixture, coating both sides
  4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat
  5. Cook each slice 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown
  6. Serve warm with maple syrup
